DanceLine briefly in English
DanceLine is a Tampere based ballroom dancing club. The club was founded in January 2006 to offer a chance for the children who had learned the basics of dancesport in Dance Actions to compete actively. The club aims to promote ballroom dancing in Pirkanmaa. The basic idea is to guarantee competent and pedagogically planned teaching, carried out by the best-in-the-trade teachers. To ensure this level of competence all the teachers of DanceLine have a four year degree in teaching ballroom dancing from the Oulu Conservatoire.
DanceLine has its own recently renovated dance centre in Nekala, Tampere.
DanceLine is a member of the Finnish Dance Sport Association and thus all the members are permitted to compete in the competitions organized by the members of the FDSA. DanceLine now is a home to about 20 competing couples of children, youngsters, adults and seniors and is looking forward to hosting its very own competition in the spring of 2010.
